Drone cards
Every drone has a card with its data: a photo (JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 2 MB), the serial number, C0-C6 classes (several can be selected), MTOM, the registration number, the AC / DJI Care insurance expiry date, the default pilot, the colour on the operations map and the last flight date. From the card you pair the aircraft with DJI Pilot 2 using a one-time code - the pairing status shows on the card’s badge.
The drone’s type and serial number fill in automatically from logs and telemetry; manually entered data is never overwritten. The default pilot is assigned automatically to imported flights - handy when one person flies the aircraft most of the time.
The drone’s repair and inspection history: see “Drone servicing”. Suspending and retiring drones: see “Licence and limits”.
Batteries
Batteries in FLAARE are first-class items - they can be shared between drones. For every battery the system keeps:
- charge cycles counted automatically from logs (a badge shows whether the counter comes from a log or a manual correction),
- state of health (SoH),
- a “last seen in: drone · date” history and a flight count.
The operator can correct the cycle counter manually - the correction is only overwritten by a reading from a newer flight, so uploading an old, backlogged log will not roll the counter back. Unused batteries can be archived.
