Adding a flight manually

Not every flight leaves a log - FLAARE lets you add a flight manually. A manual entry goes into the flight log on equal terms with an automatic one and is included in the XLSX export.

What you provide

• The date, takeoff time and duration - duration in a convenient notation: 12 means 12 minutes, 12:30 is minutes and seconds, 1:02:30 is the full form with hours.
• The drone from the fleet list.
• The pilot - the operator picks anyone, a pilot can only enter themselves.
• The place and location - you point at the flight position by clicking a mini-map or entering coordinates.
• A note (optional).

A manual entry has no GPS track or telemetry - those only come from a log.

Note

Manual entries are marked with a pencil icon on the flight list. If the log turns up later, just import it - deduplication will not merge it with the manual entry, so delete the manual one then.
