Flight list
The Flights page is the organisation’s flight log: entries from log imports and manual entries, in a tile view (default) or a table - the choice is remembered in the browser. A tile shows a route thumbnail, the takeoff date and time, the drone, flight time, distance, maximum altitude, the pilot and the location. A manual entry has a pencil mark instead of the thumbnail.
Next to each flight there are counters of pinned checklists and recorded emergencies - it is easy to spot a flight without a confirmed checklist.
Filters, sorting and pages
The list is narrowed by pilot, drone, date range and mission type, and sorted by date, flight time, distance or altitude. The list shows 100 flights per page; the counter in the header is the number of flights for the current filters, and the “showing 1-100 of N” bar with arrows leads to the next pages.
Filters, sorting, page number and tab are stored in the page address. Thanks to that, returning from a flight view, the browser’s Back button and a refresh bring back the same view, and the address can be copied and sent, e.g. “this drone’s flights from September”.
Actions
- The operator selects flights and runs bulk actions: assigning a pilot, deleting.
- A pilot has an “Assign me” button on a flight without an assigned pilot.
- The ”+ Add flight” button opens a manual entry - see “Adding a flight manually”.
The Emergencies tab next to the flight list leads to the organisation’s incident register - see “Emergencies”.
