A system for drone flight records and fleet management
FLAARE is a web application for organisations that fly drones every day: volunteer and state fire services, search and rescue groups and companies. It replaces the paper flight log, equipment spreadsheets and messages with drone positions with one system available from the browser.

Drone flight log with DJI log import
UAS flight records are created automatically. After the flight it is enough to upload the log file from the DJI controller and the system creates an entry with the GPS track, takeoff and landing times, altitudes, battery usage and the drone serial number. Flights without a log can be added by hand, and the whole flight log can be exported to a file for an inspection or a report.

The operations map shows every drone in the organisation live: who is in the air, where they are flying and which route they have already covered. The coordinator adds search areas and points, and pilots receive them straight on the controller. The SAR mission planner splits the area between several drones and generates separated routes that land in the route library on the controller.

Every drone and every battery has its own card with service history, inspections and cycle counters computed from flights. On top of that: pre-flight and post-flight checklists, an emergency register and personnel with qualifications and training expiry dates. The dashboard sums up flight time per pilot and per drone.
