DJI Pilot 2

FLAARE works with DJI drones, and a controller running DJI Pilot 2 is the link between the aircraft and the system:

  • Telemetry - drone positions and parameters reach the operations map live from DJI Pilot 2.
  • Missions - the planner sends finished missions directly to the DJI Pilot 2 route library on the pilot’s controller.
  • Video - a camera stream is started from the application, and the picture shows whatever the pilot has on the controller screen - see “Live video”.
  • Map elements - points, areas and lines drawn in DJI Pilot 2 reach the operations map and the organisation’s other controllers, and elements from the application reach the controllers - see “Areas and POIs”.
  • Logs - log files from the controller build the automatic flight log.

Telemetry, missions, video and map elements work while the FLAARE page is open on the controller - the same page that is opened during pairing.

The system works with DJI drones that support DJI Pilot 2 - without narrowing to specific models. You can also keep the flight log for other manufacturers’ aircraft by adding flights manually.
