AirSense (ADS-B)

DJI drones with an AirSense receiver detect manned aircraft transmitting ADS-B. FLAARE shows these warnings on the operations map - for the whole team, not just the pilot at the controller.

What it looks like on the map

An aircraft appears as a marker coloured by threat level:

• yellow - low warning level,
• orange - elevated,
• red, pulsing - a threat with an avoidance recommendation; the browser plays a one-time alarm sound.

The marker greys out after 30 seconds without fresh data and disappears after about a minute.

Clicking the marker shows: the warning level, altitude (distinguishing metres AMSL from ellipsoidal height), altitude relative to the drone with a trend arrow, distance, course and the drone that reported the contact.

Important

Only aircraft transmitting ADS-B are displayed. The absence of an indication does not mean the absence of air traffic - the duty to observe the airspace always rests with the pilot.
