Exporting the flight log

You export the flight log to an XLSX file (flaare_logbook.xlsx) in a format compliant with registry requirements.

What the file contains

The columns include: takeoff date and time, flight time, UAS model and serial number, registration number and class, the pilot with their pilot number, the UAS operator number from the organisation account, operation category, flight mode, mission type, location, maximum altitude, distance and remarks.

The category, mode and mission type come from the flight’s “Operational data” tab - worth filling in as you go.

Filters

The export can be narrowed by pilot, mission type and date range - for example one pilot’s summary for a quarter.

Personnel list export

A separate export (the XLSX button on the Personnel page, operator only) creates flaare_personel_YYYY-MM-DD.xlsx with qualifications and expiry dates - date cells are shaded: red when overdue, yellow 30 days before.

Important

XLSX is the only flight log export format. The system does not export PDF files.

Note

Exports also work after the licence expires, during the transitional period set out in the terms of service.
